Horizon® Handrail

Horizon® Handrails are designed for use in areas where a firm and full grip is necessary. A full wrap-around design with embossed rigid vinyl cover provides enough surface area and friction for a full “power grip” for added stability and safety. Inside, an aluminum retainer reinforces this handrail to provide stable assistance when walking, as well as superior wall protection and impact resistance.

Horizon® Certifications

• Alloy 6063-T5 exceeds minimum strength standards under ASTM B-221 or Federal Spec QQ-AA-200 available with natural anodized.
• Fire Resistance: Tested in accordance with ASTM E-84 and NFPA 101 for Class A materials. Flame spread index 5, smoke developed index 180 maximum.
• Impact Resistance: 25.4 ft. lbs. inch of notch IZOD (ASTM D-256)
• Bacteria Ban: Incorporated in vinyl compound. Tributyl Tin.
